Children are shaped by what they repeatedly meet. In a digital home, many of those encounters are chosen by platforms optimizing for engagement, not by a parent pursuing what is true, beautiful, or worth remembering. MindFeast exists to hand some of that territory back. Not by counting minutes or blocking apps, but by putting parent-chosen material into the ordinary moments a screen already owns.

The house it comes from
I'm a homeschooling father and a software builder, and the first customer for everything on this site. The lock screen app exists because I wanted my daughters’ tablets to greet them with beautiful and thoughtful content instead of whatever an algorithm had planned. My girls use the MindFeast Spelling Helper to assist them in their writing. Charlotte, our open-source homeschool agent, keeps the reading lists, plans the field trips, and turns finished lessons into review slides. Nothing here is hypothetical; it all runs in our home first.

How we work
Home first. Products ship after they’ve been lived with, not before. The roadmap is written by what our own homeschool actually needs.
Buy once, own it. The core apps are one-time purchases. No advertising, no tracking, no engagement metrics.
Small on purpose. Each tool respects the atmosphere of the home. A spelling helper is not a curriculum; a lock screen is not a parenting philosophy. An AI agent doesn't prescribe a pedagogy or aesthetic. You choose how to use the tools in a way that works for your family.
Why the night sky
The MindFeast mark is an open book with light coming out of it. The paintings across this site, Albert König’s Palermo night and his sunset, are the same gesture: small brilliant things scattered over a great darkness. A lit screen in a dark room can be a problem to manage, or it can be a feast of light, if someone sets the table. That’s the whole company, in one image, and it’s why we credit the painter on every page.
