Runs the way you want

Harness neutral agentic framework

Charlotte was designed and architected to be harness neutral. She ships with containerized OpenClaw and Hermes runtime environments. This means she can be run as an OpenClaw or Hermes agent out of the box. She can also be run on command in Claude Code, Codex, or Opencode, and she can run with remote control in any product that supports it. She can simply be started, used, and shut off when needed, or she can be continuously running. Her design is flexible. How you use her is up to you.

Hermes or OpenClaw

Charlotte ships with Dockerized Hermes and OpenClaw runtime environments so you can run her how you want. She can be used as an always on agent, or simply fired up with Claude Code or Codex and used as needed.

Configurable pedagogy

Charlotte comes with a default pedagogy built directly from Charlotte Mason's original works, however, she can be configured to work with any pedagogy you want. Simply create a custom pedagogy directory and drop your raw materials in there and Charlotte can index them.

Configurable aesthetic

Charlotte ships with a default calm, watercolor aesthetic for image creation. When Charlotte creates images, this is what she uses, however, this is configurable. Aesthetics files are just markdown and you can write your own.

Helps with anything

Charlotte integrates with Homeschool Dashboard to provide time logging in spreadsheets and a graphical dashboard for watching progress. She also helps with field trip planning, lesson planning, book logging, and MindFeast slide production for the MindFeast lock screen. Charlotte will review your week of learning, create new slides for your child's tablet, and sync them automatically.
